My girlfriend is chinese and she told me this today when she got her period, I laughed, what are other strange references to menstrual fluid you've heard. Post your experiences please

I think it's a cute expression.

I've heard a pussy called an Aunt Mary or Aunt Fanny before...

The "auntie" comes from the term Aunt Flo. For "flow" of blood.

I've usually heard it referred to: "Holy crap, I'm bleeding from the crotch! Now get out of my face you pig! I hate you! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I love you!"

When I read 'my auntie came to visit' and 'my girlfriend is Chinese' I first thought it was going to be about you just learning 'Hello Auntie' and 'Hello Uncle' as a way to greet.

I have nothing else to contribute to this thread.

Yes but this girl is chinese, and her english is limited enough that I don't think she'd know what flow was, but obviously period jokes are multicultural.

As an aside, my wife's granny believed that women should not wash their hair when they were on their period or they'd get sick. /images/graemlins/confused.gif
