For the record, I would usually play it this way, sometimes leading on the flop for 3/4 pot. This big stack doubled up by playing top pair loosely.

I wouldn't check the flop. Too big a chance it's checked to the turn where an overcard can kill you.

I agree with poster, splashpot. But, given the circumstances after the flop check, I would guess that my overpair was against villain's high pair and possibly one overcard (A-T?) and go all-in, too.

FPS. A free card is just too dangerous. I doubt even a LAG is betting here with two unconnected overs, or a suited ace, or an underpair.

Bet the flop. Checking with that board and that many players is very bad.

What turn card could come that would make a player want to put in a bunch of chips with the second best hand? I don't think there is one, so there is absolutely no reason to slowplay, which is are essentially doing if it gets checked around. If he won't give you action now, he won't later either unless you are beaten.
Edit: As for the checkraise option, I think a lot of players will fold top pair weak kicker to a c/r all in, but will call you all the way down if you bet out and keep value betting.

Lead the flop, if someone raises you then u will have a decision to make. Too dangerous to give free card like the other said. The checkraise also doesnt make much sense here, if you lead the flop u can get calls from mayb midpair but if ur checkraising you will force weaker hands out and only be playin against hands that beat yours. Also there's only one person bhind u who isnt the original pf raiser, its not very likely he would put in a bet here.
