Hero?

I am getting about 2 to 1 on this call. So I guess its all about what kind of range you put UTG+1 on. Do you think that includes hands like AK? Do you make this call?

I really don't see you getting away from this hand since you have only 400 left if you fold. I don't play 22s but QQ-AA played this way is really weird. I call and expect to see 99/TT/AQs/AKo/AKs more times then I see QQ-AA.

I call quickly.

I also like open-shoving to betting 225 here. JJ only flops a set or an overpair 1/2 the time, and you're stuck with a big fat headache the other half of the time. The pot's significant to your stack, just go take it.

I call, sure he will have a bigger pair sometimes, but not nearly often enough in my experience.

He turned over AA, which is what I thought he had, but was getting to go of odds. Plus I also thought AK.

I'd call but I would have pushed in the first place. That's just me though.

I used to think it was only AA and KK who played like this, but have been shown mid pocket pairs the large majority of times. Easy call.
