Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

Hero (t1575)
CO (t1405)
Button (t540)
SB (t635)
BB (t1490)
UTG (t1850)
UTG+1 (t480)
MP1 (t1185)
MP2 (t840)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
2 folds, MP1 is all in t1185, 1 fold, Hero??

My venture into the $55s has not started out well. JJ good enough to call this?

QQ would be the minimum im pushing with here, calling is stupid because you have everybody behind you covered. I think I find a fold here and wait till the blinds to come around before I try something.

I call here. Readless, pusher's range should be fairly wide, and JJ is ahead of it. Simple as that I guess.

I could start saying stuff about how your chip stack will be large enough if you call and win where you will be able to bully effectively, so in winning this pot you are actually winning more chips than are in the pot.

But really, I mean, your hand is probably best here the majority of the time. So I just call.

Many people will say re-push. But IMO, without a specific read on MP1, it's not worth it. It's still 9-handed and you're in a good chip position.

What is your reasoning behind calling if your playing the hand?

Without a read from OP, im putting him on a tighter range, e.g. 99+ AJ+. He pushed with 6 people left to act, and I'm giving him some credit since this is a 55. If hero was button, and villain in the CO this is an insta push IMO.

oh, i said call, i meant push. its pretty clear. im obviously not folding at any point during the hand once i call, so whatever.

and here is my range that i give an average partydude and our corresponding equity:

I was going to tell the poster that if decisions like this aren't automatic, it would probably be wise to stick to the $33's until they are. This is a very easy re-shove.

I whole-heartedly agree. Push, and don't look back.
