Turn: (7.75 BB) Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls.

River: (11.75 BB) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 13.75 BB.

Did I play this correct? I feel that maybe I should have reraised the turn. Did I slow down too soon too late?
Thanks

Perfect.
After the the raise on the turn with the flop check I don't think you can put any more raises in.

This is fine.

After the Turn raise you should stop being aggressive. You are probably behind now, ut the pot is big enough to warrant a call down.

For the record, had he Capped the Flop, Just call down.

Hadn't thought of that - thanks for the add-on

I agree this is well played. He could have not capped the flop with a set of K's, hoping to induce more action on the turn. Thus just calling after getting raised on the turn is a good decision IMO.

Put him on your buddy list.

That he either has QQ, or something dumb like 2 hearts or something.

Either way buddy list this guy.

As a side note, let's say you were the other player and you had KK. Do you 4 bet the flop or just call letting the other player take the lead knowing that he will most likely lead out on the turn so you can 2 bet him there. I struggle with these situations a lot because I am thinking I'll give up 1 small bet now when I am way ahead so that I can trap the other player for 2-4 big bets on the turn. Is this really bad thinking here?

Looks fine to me. I think your behind on the river but I wouldn't fold. I think the Turn Raise by UTG means you are behind.

I personally would slow down on the turn only due to the fact the opponent was willing to cap PF

If UTG+1 has AK, his turn raise isn't very smart. (What's he beating that you've played this way?)

And if UTG+1 has any other hand besides AK that you're beating, then he's really out of control.

I think you slowed down at the right time.

Looks good. You're almost certainly behind after the turn raise, but the pot makes it worth it to call down.

If he doesn't have a K or QQ then perhaps he went agro on the other AA.
