Curious about your opinions about this prop: no score in first 7 1/2 minutes (-130).

My feeling is that we have 2 run-heavy offenses, which should keep the clock moving. If Baltimore wins the toss, they should be able to eat up 3 minutes before having to punt (god forbid they get a first down). And then Pitt would have 4 to 5 1/2 minutes to put up a score, which if they run the ball as I expect, they might not be able to do, assuming Baltimore doesn't stop them. If Pitt wins the toss, well I think they eat clock too with the run, just have to hope Balto stops them before they get into FG range.

Of course I am assuming that neither the opening kickoff nor an ensuing punt yields a significant return.

Anyone have any thoughts about this prop?

Many teams are stacking the box with 8 or 9 players to stop the Pitt running game and force Ben to throw. Thing is, he can. He just hasn't needed to. They have had more big plays this year as a result. If that happens tonight, the could score fast. Also, If Baltimore does not have early success running the ball and is forced to throw, the clock may not run as fast as you might think. If Baltimore gets a lucky break early, things may be different. I think a lot depends on the first couple drives in this game.

IF the Steelers have a decent lead at halftime, the under in the second half is usually pretty good as they just grind it out.

Thanks for the insight.

Looking over both teams games so far this year I see that Baltimore would have went 3-3 with this prop in their past games and Pittsburgh also would have went 3-3. The prop sounds good looking at these two teams against each other but I think I would want a better price then -130 based on history.

Sportsbook has this prop at first 8 minutes no -105

I would rather give the 30 seconds and get the better odds.
