I am going to play 2000 sngs this month starting tomorrow. I tried doing this in August in preperation for the STTF HU but fell about 200 short. I failed last time due to the fact that I 4 tabled for the first week and a half of the challenge, and also, when I did start 8 tabling I did so in sets. I have recently started 8 tabling continuously, and have gotten it down to about 10 sngs/hour. The plan is to play 4 2.5 hour sessions 20 days this month. I will be playing predominantly 55s but I may take a shot at the 109s eventually. Updates on this will be posted every sunday night before I go to bed.
PS. To all of the haters out there, I am doing this primarily as a motivational tool for myself. Also, there will be no BS whatsoever, and many of the leisure players on this board will be able to see how a typical pro runs around here.

This sounds good. I will join in on this challenge since I had a pathetic showing in october. 2000 games sounds perfect.

2000 50+5s? That's tough.
I find that when I set number goals for myself (1K SNGs in a month, etc), I'm playing long hours, going on pure auto-pilot, getting bored with poker quickly, and generally just not wanting to play. This leads to the quality of my game dropping.
Hope this doesn't happen to you.

My ePenis will on be 3/4ths your ePenis. I'll be playing 1500 109's with maybe some 215's depending on how I feel. I'm not sure where that'll put me on the leaderboard, but I'm shooting for top 10. Best of luck

I wish I had your discipline. I've been 8-tabling continously for most of my sessions this month and I've played less than 700. I still need to play 60 today to clear my come back bonus offer. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I want to play also. I don't think I will make 2K as I also need to play 15K raked hands to get my November bonus. I will be in for 1500 - $55's.

I've never understood these "I'm going to play a lot, so I'll make a thread to encourage other 2+2ers to flood my games" threads -- but I wish you luck.
It will be interesting to see if someone can play this kind of volume without his ROI dropping too far below his average, so I'm looking forward to the results. It would be nice to know that at least someone can power-play without coming down with a a nasty case of suck. I always seem to come down with one when I play too much.

I'm an 8-tabler, just another question for your multi tablers out there for me:
I get really pissed off waiting for the tables to refresh so I can join in on a new table, and the difference in start times of my first and last tourney (I play in sets) is usually at least 10 minutes wide. How do you guys cope with this? (And yes, Dikshit is stupid and retarded, but there's nothing I can do about that) :/

10 minutes? You sure? Even playing the $55s the maximum tends to be < 5 mins..
It can be frustrating but at least it staggers them which can help towards the bubble. Sometimes.

start loading new ones up as you're on your last couple of tables.
And to think that I felt like a freak when I realized that at the end of a month I had played a 1,000 SNGs....
In 7 to 10 days time I'm going to go for 3k sngs in 30 days (or quit if I hit $20k).
