These are 2 situations where I just wasn't sure where I stood, thought I was probably behind and folded.

Hand 1: Looks fine. The pot is small anyway. MP2 probably had A4, Ace rag seems pretty popular to call preflop even against a raise.

Hand 2: What do you think BB has here? 75 is pretty awful to call perflop, esp. against a raise. Might have a couple diamonds but that probably won't come in on the river. I would actually guess he has 5 and a high card and was betting on the OESD, which is dumb but that never stopped anyone. Thus I would call his turn bet but fold to the river bet.

He could also have J6 if he was really loose.

call x2.

to the other poster advocating a turn call, river fold in hand 2:

wtf?

edit- call down both hands, not just turn.

in regards to hand 2 - my PF raises are called by all manner of hands at these levels. I see cold calls with 65o, Q8s, 53s, A2o, J2o, it doesn't matter. Most of them will easily toss in 1 more small bet to get in on a raised pot. I was somewhat nervous with 1 overcard on the flop, then I have the BB betting into me after I raised PF and bet the flop with someone to act behind me.

call both down.

you are greater than 50% behind, sure. but you have the odds to play on.

With hand 1, if I called the turn raise, I was going to call down.

With hand 2 I really thought about calling down but I'm a newb and I don't want to be a calling station either.

Hand 2 - Raise turn fold to a 3 bet anyone? Most sets at these levels are check-raised. Could also be a limped overpair. Granted hero's hand has showdown value, and the raise may just buy us a free showdown if we want to take it (and find out what just donked the turn).

I think #1 is a definite call-down. This check-raise could be done with a Q.

#2 is a little tougher I'd probably call this down but that doesn't make it right.

Given that button is behind us I don't mind this play. I'm taking that free showdown though and I think I'd fold if he donks the river.

seems pretty clear he's on a draw in hand 2, the river scare card makes it even worse.
