for those of you who thought it was silly to think prisoners being tortured at g.b., you were right.

'The suspects have been taken to countries, including Egypt and Jordan, whose intelligence services have close ties to the CIA and where they can be subjected to interrogation tactics -- including torture and threats to families -- that are illegal in the United States, the sources said. In some cases, U.S. intelligence agents remain closely involved in the interrogation, the sources said.'

maybe right, maybe wrong, but torture nonetheless.

Some US soldiers have been known to rape and murder. That's why they call it war. The enemies of US forces historically have very been good at torture. Just ask Sen. John McCain.

And ya know what? Keep pushing civilized people beyond the brink of tolerance and these things will happen. How many sucker punches are we supposed to withstand and still "fight fair"?

so what? If you are a law abiding American then you should be fine. The military industrial complex isn't new. Just ask Ike.

Andrew Jackson had an election stolen him from the first time he ran for President. He dealt with a hostile indigenous population by murder and deportation. This is American heritage. Did you really expect reality to match the utopian myth?

You sound like a malcontent. The great thing about America is that you can openly be so as long as you don't plan on killing anyone.
