View Full Version : NFL Record in Progress - Check it Out!
Tampa Bay v. San Francisco: Going to break the NFL most punts in a game record of 17.
I had to travel this week for business and this is the game I have to watch. I was hoping for Den v. Philly, or at least K.C. v. S.D.

It shouldn't have happened to begin with. Dorsey might make a decent backup...in the Arena league.
There have been about 10 punts so far ... in the first half. The commentators have not even mentioned the record, or the possibility of it being broken, yet.
12 punts with 7:00 left in the 2nd quarter. NFL history here, guys!
Still no mention of it by commentators.

That's because they aren't as close to a record as you think. 17 is the record for most punts in a game by one team. For both teams, its 31.

Thanks for ruining it for me.
I needed some reason to watch this crap.
