I'm sure we've all racked up a crapload of NETPoints and I was wondering, has anyone ever won any of the cash giveaways? As far as I know, that's the only thing you can use the points for, so I thought maybe someone here has gotten lucky with them.

I remember some months ago that GrannyMae had flooded entries w/ a $500 or something weekly contest. As for winning, I don't think that happened. I think some prick had then used all of his points to "re-flood" the contest. /images/graemlins/smile.gif heh

I should do that sometime. I've got a zillion of those freeroll points.

Not just Granny Mae and some other guy. The whole zoo flooded that drawing. One guy did win the $500, though.

Lol, that "prick" was me. And we didn't reflood it, we set it up so that 2+2 controlled a significant share of all the entries, I think at one point we figured we had about 30 percent of them.

Anyone want to do it again? If the entire zoo flooded a monthly and got lucky, maybe we could split a grand 200 ways and get $5 each /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ever been to a variety store that cashes checks in a big city?

Interesting stuff. Used to have a job in New Orleans where I would get my check cashed at one of these places. Always seemed like shady business.
