Just installed the newest XP update and WE HAVE PROBLEMS... help!

I just restarted my computer after the newest XP update and now when it tries to load windows it gets to the logo then a quick blue screen with nothing on it and it reboots immediately and does the same thing. I tried booting it from a Windows XP disk but it gets to the Windows Setup screen and eventually restarts after loading all the devices.

have you tried safemode yet?

(f8 during the boot up to bring the menu up if you aren't aware)

Seriously though, was the update an auto update by windows or did you intentionally perform an update?
