For some types of people, there may be nothing wrong with getting a girlfriend for the sake of having a girlfriend, but if you're questioning it, you're probably not one of those people. In that case, settling for the best you can find only ends up taking away some of your dignity. If you need to depend on a woman who doesn't particularly even interest you, that's weak. It's a matter of self-control and being patient for a person you are actually interested in.

Just think of all the times you are bored now. With a girlfriend you will be able to do things like go shopping or go to the movies instead, and then maybe have sex with her.
