Fairly new to ring N/L.
Table is super loose, opponents don't bet enough with their good hands.

$25 No Limit Hold 'em (7 players)
Big Blind= $0.50

SB ($26.25)
BB ($16.25)
EP ($171.05)
EP2 ($18.25)
Hero ($23.50)
c/o ($46.3)
Button ($18.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP w/ A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif,K /images/graemlins/heart.gif
EP1 Limps, EP2 limps, Hero Raises to 3.50
c/o calls, button folds, SB calls, BB folds, EP calls, EP2 folds

I have been raising a good chunk lately, these guys seem to call with anything

Flop: ($15.00) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif, K /images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
SB checks, EP checks, Hero goes all-in ($20.00), c/o is next to act.

I am pot committed at this point, normally i'd bet the pot, but since the board is drawy and it's only $5 more, I push

How is my play?

Your line isn't all that bad, since there's really no way you're folding this flop given your short stack. However, I think you make more money in the long run by betting $12 or so on the flop and inducing a flush / straight draw to call with incorrect odds. Then you can get the rest in on any turn card.

Are you sure it was $25NL? Usually in $25NL, the blinds are 10 cents and 25 cents.

Kind of a largish raise pre-flop; I would have bet either $2 or maybe up to $2.50 (4xBB + 1 BB for each limper). Chances are, if they will call a $2 or $2.50 bet, then they will probably call a $3.50 bet, as well. My preference would be to make a $2 bet and see the flop.

"Pot-committed" is a concept that has more applicability in tournaments. In that case, once you're past a certain point, you will be crippled if you lose/fold anyway, so it makes sense to give your current hand the best possible chance to win. You can always rebuy in ring games, so the concept has less applicability here.

I would probably bet $12-$15 on the flop and hope to take it down right there. Assuming I got one caller and the turn is a blank, I would fire again.

Maybe it's an old hand from the Party's old days when 50bb was the maximum.
