Gonna be in for $9 after the add-on. Only 5200 /images/graemlins/frown.gif

10-29-2005, 09:21 PM
not much to note, 7100, in for 9.

10-29-2005, 09:23 PM
I was very disoriented during the first hour of this one... no open-pushing and the table was actually very tight. 8050 after add on.

10-29-2005, 09:48 PM
done.. raised to T600 with AK diamonds, 2 callers.. K high flop with 2 diamonds.. I bet out, get raised.. raise all-in and get called by trip 3's for the set.. no help on the turn/river. GL to those still in.

10-29-2005, 09:51 PM
Out. Some idiot went all in UTG for like 10000 chips when blinds were 100/200, I called with QQ he has AA. oops

I can't decide. Is it a monkey filled donk fest, or a donk filled monkey fest?

After the re-buy ends, two big stacks all-in pre-flop. A9o vs. A5o.

lol, sometimes I don't know what goes through people's minds when making these moves, "I have an ace, I'm gold"?.. hard to navigate through the donks.. but it shall be done one day

No draws on the board, when I hit my TPTK, I decide to see if he'll stab. On the river, I give him another chance with the underbet.

tbl 205, 7k...I need to double up kinda quickly, its flip time for me.

10-29-2005, 10:33 PM
Sitting at a reasonable 24k, and at an extremely loose table. Feels like I'm back in the rebuy period.

You'd think wouldn't you. He hit his set on the river. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Doubled up since: t20k, table 123

ack, bad luck. 20K can still do some damage.

I'm pretty sure it's "He's bluffing CALL HIM!!!!" At least that explains how my KK went down in flames to 73s. He sure caught me that time.

Polished up my luckbox:

84s vs. Slowplayed AA
Pushed AJ over a "steal" and beat QQ
Called an odd PF push with QQ and beat AJ

Then donked off some chips - now at 95k.

I just gotta remember that I have much less folding equity than I'm used to. Kickers are just for football for a lot of these guys.

i came in 4th in this, slickster604. I was down to 44k at one point when the blinds were 15k/30k.

Was second in chips with 4 left and pick up AQ in the BB. The SB chipleader raises my blind and I go all in. He calls and shows AT diamonds, he hits a ten on the flop and I'm out in 4th.

Hard as it is to believe, I didn't get past the first hour. Playing on a very strange table, weirdly tight until the last ten minutes. I had bad cards, but still managed to accumulate around 4K chips. Then, I started catching really good hands and lost, get this, 4 all ins in a row to suckouts on the river. Not one, not three, but FOUR, consecutively! After the third, I said, OK THAT'S IT. Don't know why I bought in again, but I did, and wham, another suckout on the river. Goodnight, everyone.

If you can't accumulate at least an average stack by the end of the rebuy period, I find, you're in a for a very long night and struggling uphill all the way.
