I voted Peter & Chris

Chris is very under-rated, and the show wouldn't be the same without this character. Peter is the whole show, and the center of most of the funniest moments, how can anyone not vote for him?

Edit: And I can't beleive Brian has so many votes, he's just the standard straight-man.

Stewie and Brian no doubt. Quagmire is a close 3rd. The show would be nothing without Stewie.

It was close between Peter, Brian, and Stewie, but I picked Brian and Stewie.

On a side note, I really hope Peter gets in another fight with the guy in the chicken costume again this season.

He's also a really funny and well-developed character, if there are people who think they're just milking the talking dog thing.

- Peter and Brian are the MVPs, though it used to be Peter and Stewie.

- Stewie and Quagmire are the most creative and funny.

- I voted Brian and Stewie, because I guess the OP wants personal favorites.

Brian and Stewie, their dry wit and humor is original and subtle. Quagmire is close maybe because he's such a memorable sleeze.

Although Peter is hilarious, he's an overdone H.J. Simpson clone and his humor is usually pretty lowbrow. Lois isn't meant to be funny to balance Peter out, Chris is overdone and has a lot of lines that just miss in between his great ones. Meg is depressing.

I think the best part of the show are the random cameo appearances from known social icons that they twist so well.

The problem with Peter is that his character is very unoriginal. He's funny, but he's a Homer Simpson clone.
