ur dealt A2-A8 in the bb and it is raised, no one calls
is this an automatic fold or what?

This is typically a fold I figure

1. You could be dominated, pretty easily.

2. You are behind any pocket pair.

3. You are out of position.

I agree but it feels so weak in a short handed game, does anyone re-raise here?

Clearly it depends on what information you have about the raiser... Against a loose aggressive I'll probably call A2-A6 and 3-bet A7/A8. Against a passive it's an easy fold. Against a tag it's probably close but still likely a fold since you're oop.

I only 3-bet if I have a very specific reason to. I don't mind taking a flop with these hands, especially if the raiser is in any way loose.

A7s and up I call with.

The rest I muck.

If hes a LAG, I lower my standards appropriatly.
