Get Lucky. Play in one of our lucky hands and win loads of cash!

link (http://www.partypoker.com/news/events/3_billionth_hand.html)

Any minute now, the 3 billionth hand will be played at PartyPoker.com!
To celebrate this landmark, we’re rewarding many players with special jackpots and the chance to become a millionaire.

These will be followed by amazing $20,000 freeroll tournaments played an hour after the jackpots have been awarded. All real money players are eligible for the freeroll. Be fast since registration will be on a first come first served basis

To win the jackpots, all you have to do is play the following lucky hands:

2,955,000,000
2,960,000,000
2,965,000,000
2,970,000,000

2,985,000,000
2,990,000,000
2,995,000,000
3,000,000,000

The winner of the hand receives 50% of the jackpot, and the rest of the table will share the remaining 50%.

If a royal flush is dealt on one of the lucky 10 hands, the winner of that hand gets $1 million!

All players who play these hands will be rewarded according to the table they’re playing on when the jackpot is awarded.

Players who are sitting on tables with one of the lucky 10 hands, playing either $3/$6 limit tables or higher, or $100 NL/$100 PL tables or higher, will share the following, according to the hand they hit:

Wow.. and you know exactly what hand # you are playing

Reminds me of the adjusting your play to size of the ante in the TOP.

Basically, proper poker theory would dictate that you call any number of bets or even all in with any hand in order to try and win the ginormous bouns money in the pot.

approximately ~4000 hands pass each hand, if you're ten tabling then you have a 1/400 chance of being at the right table. but damn what a lottery windfall that would be.

I'd love to be UTG in a no-limit game on the big hand.

Given the current rate of hands/minute what time should we all start playing?

I'm too lazy to do the math. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

11,000,000 to go. @ 3000 a minute it's 61 hours. I would guess my 3000/minute is on the low side

Is this for when the 3B-th hand is expected to hit or the first of the jackpot hands (I believe starting with #955M)? I don't feel like doing the math now.

My estimate- A SH table plays around 110 hands an hour - and it looks like they are currently playing 2500 hands/hand, so 275000 hands per hour- but the pace should pick up as its friday and there will be another 20,000 players online tonight probably. so guestimate at 300,000 hands per hour for 10 mill hands (currently at 2.945 billion) - and we should see it (the first one) between 9pm and 1am tomorrow.

SNG play would be covered under this

Players who are sitting on tables with one of the lucky 10 hands, playing either $2/$4 limit tables or lower, or $50NL/$50PL or lower and those playing tournaments will share:

right?

on paradise, a while back, they had a similar milestone of like 1 billionth hand. Can we say that number again, 3 Billion. Thats a lot of internet packets.

Anyways, got like table 297,000,000 (forgot the actual #) and everyone at the table got $100. Winner of the hand got like 1k. It was just a 1/2 limit table at the time.

With very large stacks (2.5k plus) it might not be worth going all in for the first couple bonus hands.

This will be fun for limit players. I can cap every round with 72o and it'll be the right play.

Also, I predict the first one will come saturday morning/afternoon not sunday night.

Looks like with 7000 tables (55,000 players) the hands are being dealt about 100 every second.

This puts the first bonus at around 10pm est Saturday night.

After that, each lucky hand will be dealt around 13-14 hours after the previous one.

This puts the 3 billionth hand at around thursday night.

Of course, the number of tables going severly affects this rate, I'm not sure if 7000 tables with 55,000 players is a good average for a week, I think that is probably pretty close but might be lower than that, however, there will be more peak times around the hands being dealt.

Anyway, I'm probably completely off, but I can safely say that it looks like the first lucky hand will be tommorrow evening and there will be 1 or 2 dealt every day after that.

I think around 40k players may be closer to daily avg. The action on Party slows down significantly when americans get their beauty sleep, go to work and so on.
