This isn't so far-fetched. Within a few years, hundreds if not thousands of tourists will be going to space each year. I'm sure the price will come down to include more than the top 0.01% wealthiest people after a while.

It's like anything, you get better with practice. Don't expect masterpieces straight away. You can expect to compare some writing a month apart though, and see the later one is better (or flows better) if you're working at it.

Based on what I know about you, you could write a good semi-autobiographical comming of age story. I think the second half (or maybe last third or fourth) you would have to make up or wait a while to write.

You have a great start to a story, basically running away alone to a far away country, and making way more money then you know what to do with, but realizing money is not really important at all and trying to find yourself. Or something like that. I obviously don't know you at all. I think that the poker angle adds some uniqueness and marketability, but it would obviously not be what the story is about.

It would have to be very subtle and well written to be worth reading, but I think if you took a lot of time you could pull it off.

These are both excellent goals. If you eliminate the "alone" part of it, I know quite a few people living this dream right now. This was a dream of mine once, but I pretty much gave up on it.

Depends on your definition of "small" and "lots" as well as floorplan and what else you'll want to have I guess. I'm pretty spartan. Without a bunch of junk, I'm pretty sure I could have as many books as I'd want on a 36-38 footer.
