If anyone has ever heard him on the Stern show this is not a revelation.
The show regularly uses tape of his laugh because it's one of the gayest things you'll ever hear.

Just did a little research..the episode where Sulu goes shirtless and waves a cutless around, is called "Naked Time," and Sulu is fantasizing about being one of the Three Muskateers and NOT a samaurai!
