Good postings on the 100 K / yr. subject. I'd like to ask, How many players are making a good long term living concentrating on tourneys? Or is that an even Harder area of focus than ring/shorthanded games? tx,Sid /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Sid,

I think the common belief on here is that tourneys yield less in winnings but are less volatile.

So in short, If you mean which is harder to make a living at - I would think it is tourney's.

I dont make a living at poker - I make just enough to cover a weekly trip to McDonalds - so take that for what it is worth.

LOL, same here. But I can take my whole family to the McDonalds. I'm happy with $25/day But There're days I lose $25. It goes up and down. But my biggest wins come from tournaments. I've won more money playing tournaments. Because once you get top 3, you get a lot of money. And I've reached top 3 a few times.
You've to win 1 multi table touranment ($10) and you can eat for a whole month.
