I think this entirely depends on the mode the game is playing in at the moment, but unless I feel there is a good chance villain could be playing back at me I think I cry and fold here.

I always follow the advice my grandpappy had tattooed on his back. All in to Win.

Villains hand range that you beat:

A9, Axh (over and flush draw)

and that youre losing to:

65, JJ, 55, 66, 99, 78, AKh (any two overs and a flush draw)

What does this tell you?

Villains hand range that you beat:

A9, Axh (over and flush draw) AND A BLUFF

Push it in. This is the kind of flop where people make moves against the raiser. You're pretty shortstacked, so there isn't much to think about.

I don't play that game, but I don't see myself folding here given Hero's stack size and the huge range of hands that could be raising him that he's ahead of. I push.

Kirk

PS. How come you're playing w/ a short stack? That decreases your options.

Would villain call here with A /images/graemlins/heart.gif6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif?

I think that 9-8 makes this move here a lot, too.

I'd make that play with the nuts though so it looks like I dont have the nuts.....

I'm pushing in this spot against most opponents.

it tells me my opponent has to be capable of bluffing for me to make this call

dont you guys at LEAST have tracker stats to help make these type of decisions?

on what boards do you fold marginal overpairs? your hand is basically just TPTK

results:
i was neither hero or villain in this hand and was observing to see if the game was good.

hero was an unknown and villain was a regular poster in this forum.

hero got the rest of his money in, villain obviously calls.

villain shows AA and stacks the guy.

when the hand went down i was trying to think about whether or not i get stacked often in that same spot with TT/JJ.

any thoughts on villains pf call with AA? also, if villain would like to comment if there were any extenuating factors for how he played the hand.

Well, based on the responses in this thread, I stack everyone except kagame. Seems like a decent result.

I don't make a habit of folding TPTK or a weak overpair when I'm shortstacked. I guess I could fold if I had a read on Villain as really boring/nit, but with no reads I'm not giving up TT. Maybe UB plays really differently than Party though; I can't say.
