Ogg music files?

So my friend ( a mac using communist im sure) sent me some music but it isnt in MP3 format its in "ogg" format. I can play them with VLC but i want to put some of them on my mp3 player. Anyone know of something that will conver them?

A google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ogg+mp3+convert&btnG=Google+Search) search should give you a good start.

I guess let me clarify- i want something
1, free
2, no spyware

This dq's everything on the first like 30 google results which is why iw as looking for a req
