Absolute NL .10/.25 $10-50 buy-in 9 max

I don’t have the stats with me, but Villain is a model donk. I have made a decent amount of money off of him in the past. I am confident enough in this read to put him all-in on the river of the next hand with an A9o on an A K 3 7 8 rainbow board, which is not a play I would normally make with only a nine kicker. He had KTo, flopped a king, called my bets on every street, and thought it was good.

How is this line?

this is one of those one s- you are either way ahead or stone cold dead.

Should have led after the flop - you have no choice but to lead again - pot is $6.75 - I would bet $5 and pray like hell

I say you bet again and even call a raise. I wouldnt be surprised to see an over pair from villan or Ax, with a flush draw he picked up on the turn. I cant see x being a 3 or a 2.

I think a $2 blocking bet on the river is best. Fold to a raise or push. I think 7x will call, as will a pair like 88.

But, in general, I don't like the line of check the flop, bet the turn, and bet the river.

Instead, I'd rather bet the flop with a decent continuation bet (~$1.50), check/call the turn, and make a blocking bet on the river ($1.50).

If villain bets big on the turn (3/4 pot or more), then let it go. If villain makes some micro-bet on the turn, like $0.50, call.

On the river, if villain raises your river blocking bet, then let it go.
