View Full Version : Short Hand Blind Defense

I'm a regular player on PartyPoker and I've been playing $5/$10 short and I plan to move up to $10/$20 soon. I would like to hear what some of you have to say about blind defense in short handed games in this limit, particularly aggressive short handed games. I think I may be losing money by calling raises in BB with too many hands. As a result, I also never get respect when I have a real hand, which leads to big multiway pots where my opponents have the correct odds to chase any hand they please. What range of hands do you defend your blind against an UTG raise? Button raise? SB raise? Do you just give up the hand if you completely miss the flop?

its not about your opponents positions, or how hard ou hit a flop. Often if play it agressively you will see alot of flops and get stuck into seeing a turn.

You simply have to learn what hands are good against the range of hands you put your opponents on. If someone raises almost every hand then you can defend with most hands in the big.
