Help me buy my cookies

I'm trying to order some cookies online. I have no cash. When putting in my credit card information, they're asking for a "Payment Label" and it's a required field. I've never seen this before, what is it?

Last delivery is in 20 minutes, please help. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

What type of field is it? A small field? Large field? Screenshot? (Blank out your personal information.)

It's the very first field, just above the cardholder name. Same exact size.

Type in something arbitrary like "My Credit Card." It may just be a name for the payment method so you can use it in the future. Report back.

have you provided the credit card company? mastercard, visa, etc..

Thats the only thing i can think of. but yea post a SS.

Credit card numbers have encoded in them the type of credit card that they are; I've always found it strange that they ask us to enter that information but I suppose it's an extremely rough form of security.

Yeah, this is likely what will show up on your statement. At least that's what it sounds like.

There's a separate dropdown box for Visa/Mastercard/whatever. They also say in their fine print stuff that it'll appear on the bill as from the website, which means it's not the label for that. I guess. Screenshot:

Yea thats just a field so you can reference what its for. Type in like "The cookie monster is at my house - send help"

Hope that works. That's kinda what I figured since I'd never seen it before, but I didn't know if it was some crazy new thing.
