I have no idea how to play no limit, but the people at the table with me are worse. Every single person is horrible at poker. This game was at Lac Vieux Desert in the upper peninsula of Michigan. blinds are 1/2, and the max buy in is $100. I am on the button with 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. the game is 11 handed. 4 players limp to me and i limp. blinds come along of course.
7 players to the flop for $14.

checks to CO who bets $10. I call. folds back to MP old dude who calls.

MP checks, CO bets $25 into the $44 pot. What's my play?

If you feel confident he'll call a raise, reraise him. If you feel that'll scare him off AND there's a good chance he'll bet the river, check, and then get it all in on the river.

I'd say your knowledge of how he'll play will give you all the answers.

Do you still all have $100? If so I see no problem with just calling here, you'll have $65 left in the pot will be $90 anyway. And also if you can get old dude to come along, all the better. No need to raise him out yet. If stacks are much deeper, I think you need to raise here.

If effective stacks are $100 I see no problem to just call here on the turn as well, if it's more I think a raise to $130 or so is in order.
