oh come on man, you've been around long enough...

is it plo8? does he have 258 after the raise, or before? what position are you in?

My opinion is based on about 30 $11 O8 SNG's and maybe 30 more 6's. It's almost never wrong to bet/raise in these things. People will fold 6-handed with 4-10 BB like it was a full, deep-stacked ring game. To make sure I understand your post, shorty went all-in for less than a half raise, so it certainly doesn't let you 3-bet, right? You are raising to 400, correct? Even so, I raise this a lot of the time, probably almost never calling with it, occasionally folding if the table was hyper-aggro (rare). The reason is people fold too f-ing much in these things. It's Omaha. You can play every hand. You get four cards. Ideal O8 SNG strategy is so far from ideal ring strategy that almost no one at the 11's understands why you should raise 10 times as much on the bubble of a SNG as in a ring game. Anyway, without any other info, I think this a clear raise.

This is a clear fold. The UTG big stack limps, his chance of folding to a limit raise is zero. This hand is a horrible horibble isolation hand. If you can't fold this hand in this spot, you shouldn't play 08.
