I just had to tell someone.

Amazing.

You've probably all seen it by now anyways.

Russell Crowe is great... but Jennifer Connelly is absolutely awesome.

The first time I've ever cried at a movie theatre.

If you haven't seen it.

Do.

Cheers,

Keith

Shame about Rounders...it was nearly a great movie... spoiled only by Malkovichs accent and the pointless love interest.

Incredibly beautiful and has been on a roll her last three movies; ABM, Requiem for a Dream, and Waking the Dead.

Been in love w/her since Labyrinth, to say nothing of The Hot Spot... /images/smile.gif

She's a fave of Badger's, as well.

While I enjoyed the film, it seems to me it is from that long line of formula best actor producing films that relies on a circus side show gimmic.

My Left Foot, Rainman, Forrest Gump etc. It is fascinatiing to watch the strangely disceased but it seems too easy, and I suspect the acting is not as hard as really difficult non-afflicted roll.

Slight spoiler below.

Another thing that bothered me was that perhaps the studio said " The Sixth Sense" ( a great film)

made so much money, lets just borrow a similar plot device. I also figured out the trick quite early so it was not so effective.

My favorite film this year is In The Bedroom, great acting.
