You know how it is and what it is. First tournament at a new limit and I bust out 10th. We've all been there. Standard iso-raise? Getting 1.8:1 on the call on his push.

That's terrible. Iso-raise? With AQs? I can guarantee you I've never finished 10th in a tourney because I'm getting it all-in PF with AQs in Level 1. You are going to be behind his range of hands way too often, and then when he pushes, your best hope is that he has TT or JJ and you're a slight dog.

Just call or better yet, fold to the raise. I would personally call but either of the two are much much much better than raising to 300.

You know what, as soon as I posted it, I saw it. It just seemed natural at the time to come over the top, but as soon as I posted it and had the numbers staring me in the face, I basically groaned outloud "300 out of a 795 chip stack? Way to commit yourself with AQs, moron"

Ugh. There's no excuse for moving up and acting like you can't even beat the $11s. This thread is now about the next pair of semi-casual shoes I should get. Anything but the hand. Oy.

It is okay. I did this type of stuff when I 1st started playing SNGs full time. Now I just check the AutoFold button until the blinds get to 50/100. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yeah I totally agree that LHE blows. You can litterally take a nap between hands. And yeah I voted for Citanul over GoT as well. I hope I don't get jumped in Vegas by all the SS'ers next week. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

SNGs have been my dirty little secret for a few months. I semi-outed myself when I became the only SSer to vote for Citanul, but I think it's time to start making the move full time. I'll probably end up at the $22s with a 'dedicated bankroll', I want all of my moving up to be solely SNG income related. Anything but limit hold'em, my god that game is boring. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
