I really enjoy the holiday season. The leaves changing, the various holidays, spending time with family, and the introduction of the seasonal winter brews. I just purchased some Winter Hook. Saw someone at the store with Jubelale. Be on the look out people! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

It is the time of year for the weather to start sucking around here. Man nights are gonna be cold. Sadly I am saying this because it will get down to 40 or so. Being acclimated to SF weather sucks - used to go out in my shorts when it was 40 back on the east coast

This is why I wish I'd thought through going to school in Los Angeles a little bit more. I love the Winter. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

[/ QUOTE ]Winter is cool to some degrees, but I cannot fathom living in an area where winter= 70+, unless it is a tropical locale with hot bitches.

I was born on Thanksgiving so this truly is a wonderful time of year in which every four years America gives thanks for having me. You're welcome.

I believe they have seasonals, but I'm not 100% sure. Also, they usually have something special "on nitro." Good stuff.

Harpoon Winter Warmer. The tastiest mixture of holiday seasonings in beer form. Delicious.

[/ QUOTE ]They brew it out at Redhook Brewery in Woodinville, WA. I think Bud distributes them, but the range isn't to far.

No, it is available in groceries on the east coast so I'd say the range is pretty good. No idea who distributes them.

[/ QUOTE ]Ah ok, I did not know that, and in fact, this is the first I have heard about it being out east. Budweiser distributes them I believe.

Just bought a 12 pack of Sam Adam's Winter Lager. It's good, but not what my palette was looking for this evening. I'm considering sitting outside in the 40 degree weather to drink it just so I can get the full effect.
