Suppose I realized on the river that I infact did not have a straight ---- since the board paired again, does my ace high c/r have value.

I guess you just realized you don't have a str8 when you were 3-bet. I wouldn't call the 3-bet.

Actually, I figured out I didnt have a straight when I read the results of the hand.
