View Full Version : Party Poker Steps, worth it?

10-26-2005, 06:25 PM
I have played the Party Poker steps occasionally and thus far have made it to step 4 twice but never got a payout. I am just curious as to what everyone else thinks about them. Do you think they have a regular less or higher expected value than simply playing the regular sit n goes. It seems that you simply spend a lot of time going back and forth a lot but at some point you will get burned on a bad beat or KK vs. AA and be shot either out completely or back down to step one. What does everyone else think about the steps? are they worth your time? do they have a good expected value?

I've never played a step in my life, but I have seen some lengthy threads on the subject in this forum.
