View Full Version : Need an Indian poker name

Matt Flynn
10-26-2005, 06:17 PM
My son and I joined the YMCA's Indian Guides, which is huge here. We both need Indian names. I want a poker one.

The wife nixed Crying Call and Crazy Monkey but liked River Chaser. OOT can do better though.

Matt

P.S. I set the over/under for "TwoDogsFucking" at 2.5 replies.

I do Indian Guides with my boys, and it is great. Good bonding with my sons. Our names are:

Crazy Horse, Loco Pony and Psycho Stallion, maybe you can be Loco Donkey and your son Little Loco Donkey

Calling for the bannings of respected strat posters because you don't like their posts is the peak of lame and only makes the forum suck more.

[censored] will ban who he bans and he probably doesn't need your help.

It was meant as a joke /images/graemlins/smile.gif, I know he won't ban somebody with that post count for one post containing the word p*ker.

hmmmm, I guess News, Views and Gossip is an ok forum for this. But, methinks the OOT mods might be taking the No Poker content thing a little too far.

OOT seemed the right place for this.

Astute as always Ray. This is mission critical, because this program is about being a good father, and why I want something subtle that poker players will pick up on but is plausibly deniable and opaque to non-poker-players. Crazy Monkey was my favorite. Perhaps renegotiation is in order. Maybe River Runner?

fnord too's "Laughing Donkey" brought to mind a similar one: "Grinning Donkey". I don't know why, but that mental picture appeals to me.

I was in the Indian Guides as a youth, I think my Indian name was "Running Buffalo" and my father's was something like "Tall Tree" (he's 6' 8"). I thought the organization had died out due to its total non-PCness.

They have changed the name in most areas to Y Guides, but there are still a few groups that call themselves Indian Guides.
