Well here I am again begging for help. Still 4 of us left out of the original 34. Here are the teams that I cannot use this week: Bills, Eagles, Cinn., Colts, Denver, Seattle, Washington. Who shall I take this week? Reminder is it's just straight picks no spreads.

Dallas would be my choice, since they are at home. Tampa Bay is of course another consideration against SFO.

lots of solid home faves this week.

Pittsburgh -440
Dallas -375
New England -365
Carolina -334

also Tampa -615 at San Fran

I personally like the Cowboys and Bucs over the Steelers here, but technically any of these teams losing would be a really bad beat.

Bucs, and it's not even close. Their schedule is backloaded with 6 division games, a trip to Foxboro, and the division-leading Redskins at home - none of these are locks. Use 'em or lose 'em.

Bucs is a no brainer.
They have a much better D than Redskins
Better running game especially since Cadillac is coming back this week.
Alex smith is injured but is going to play thru it instead of sitting for Ken Dorsey.

The spread is less than last week...-11

Final Score
SF: 7
TB: 34

I would take (and am taking in my pool) Pittsburgh. I think there is a chance Tampa gets picked off this week, for the following reasons:

(1) They are not that good.
(2) They are playing a back-up QB.
(3) They are traveling across country.
(4) They are playing on the road in an out-of-division game.

Am I saying that SF is going to win? No. Just that I think there are better risks to take.

Pittsburgh is playing against the worst offense in the history of the NFL, at home, in a division (very meaningful) game. I can't see not taking Pittsburgh here.

I would be all over Dallas this week. Pittsburgh would be my second choice. Dallas is among my top plays this week even with the spread. Tampa Bay does look like a nice choice as well but I would be staying away from road teams if there are other decent home teams to choose from, not to mention a new QB as other's have mentioned.

yea you probably can't go wrong with any of these but Dallas and Pittsburgh are the best by far with NE next in my opinion. Stay away from Tampa with those other choices since they are on the road.

Never take a road team in a Survivor league unless you absolutely have to. From what Ive noticed its actaulyl usaully the reason people go out so fast .

Of the three Dallas is the most easy upset.
While their Defense sucks 90% of the time..the Cardinals have talent on their D-Line and Dansby and their offense can explode.
So if the spread was 34567 then yeah I'd say it a lock..but at -9 your gambling.

Of the three teams...Pitt/TB/Dallas...Pitt is the best team while TB is facing the worst team in the NFL. Balt is bad..but they don't have a rookie QB making his third NFL start while injured.
Dallas is facing the team with the most explosive offense but a crappy D.
Dallas D should break whatever QB is playing for the Cards, but there is the chance that Kurt or Mcnown can air it out to Boldin or Fitzgerald.
I only know this because I have both on my Fantasy Football team and thus am stuck whatching lame ass Cardinals games.

They can look horrible for 3 quarters then all of a sudden put up 21 points in the 4th quarter.

Doesn't mean this will happen...but given the question...which team is a absolute lock.

You'd have to go TB or Pitt. They are much more of a "lock" to cover than Dallas.

there's no spread to cover in this pool. just straight moneyline win.

oh...then its def. TB
Sf cant beat any team in the nfl with a solid D.
They can only beat bad teams with really crappy teams

Balt is capable of beating Dallas if they get lucky...Balt is a little less likly but could still upset.

They just announced that 3rd stringer Ken "I cant throw farther than 10 yards" Dorsey will start in place of Alex Smith

TB takes the edge overr Pitt

Yeah, I generally don't take road teams, but SF really, really sucks.

Does anyone like Cincy this week? Playing at home against a team starting Tony Fisher and Chatman as their main threats....Coming off a humiliating loss last week this is a MUST win to avoid a three game losing streak!

I have all the above mentioned teams alive but prefer to go with my first instinct and that was Cincy...the line is currently

I'm taking Tampa in my office suicide pool.
