I’d love to see a discussion on the situations below. Full ring, villain unknown but at least a decent player at 50-200NL.
Situation-1:
You are PFR with AA and get 2 callers behind. Flop comes K95 rainbow. You bet the flop, and villain reraises you properly (like 3*your flop bet).
What’s your line against an unknown player (at 50-200NL) ?
Situation-2:
You are PFR with AK and get 2 callers behind. Flop comes K95 rainbow. You bet the flop, and villain reraises you properly (like 3*your flop bet).
What’s your line against an unknown player (at 50-200NL) ?
Alternate cases: Same everything except:
a.
You have position on 2 callers, and get check-raised on the flop.
My take is that for both Situations 1&2:
I call flop and bet any turn at 50%, and fold to a proper reraise. If I am called, I’ll check-decide the river.
If I am check-raised on a dry flop, I almost always fold.
I don’t know if my lines are weak tight. I do sense that I’m getting pushed off quite a few good hands, but when I stay after a check-raise all too often I lose to a set.
Discuss!
