Villain is the biggest fish I've ever seen. When I first sat down - and the only reason I sat down is I happened to start watching the game and saw that it was incredibly easy, so as soon as a seat to his right opened up I jumped in - he was at 800.

I can't figure out how to make the converter work for FullTilt, so bear with me please.

My main question is what do you all think of the river push.

Hand 2
Same Villain a little earlier in the session. I had about 300, he had me covered.

I'm in BB and look down at AA. Folds to him in SB, he completes, I make it 6, he calls.

Flop: J,5,2r (12)

Bet 6, he check-raises to 12. I Call /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Turn: 5 (35)

He bets 20, I call.

River: J (75)

He bets 30. Who calls?

hand 1: I like the shove. Villain seems to like his hand.
hand 2: What does "completes" mean? Fold, though. Unless you're pretty sure he has an overpair.

Hand 1: Well I guess if he is such a fish, then the river push is ok. Against anyone else, I'd make a 1/2 pot value bet, folding to a raise.

I think you could have raised more like $50 on the flop, and then bet more on the turn, leaving an easier push on the river.

I, like, totally know the answer.
It means he pays the rest of his blind.

What about Hand 2?

Sorry, missed it. I think you played it fine. There could be an arguement for raising on the turn if the villain is a mule - but maybe thats just results orientated hindsight..

btw I would fold on the river.

Cheers!

Hand 1) He instantly called... and mucked. I checked the HH and, as expected, saw QT.

Hand 2) I thought until my timer almost ran out and finally made the donkey call as I was getting 3:1. He had 8T for a stone cold bluff (but a good one if only he bet more).
