My first run through, I got a 1088. I've found that with these types of games, the first run is always the best. After the first one, you try too hard and [censored] up /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Actually they're kind of random, it's not always the same thing. There are actually some times when there is a hole that is impossible to get through.

Is the distance just measuring horizontal distance? Or does slaloming up and down help my score?

On my computer if you enlarge it to full screen it slows down a ton and the game is insanely easy.

A couple of interesting tricks.

If you right click on the first screen and select low quality the game moves about twice as fast.

If you right click and select rewind then the game runs properly, but when you die the copter crashes to the ground after hitting the brick walls.

If you right click at the first screen and select back and then right click and select rewind you can fly the copter in a cave with no walls and you can bounce off the ceiling.

If you select back, then rewind then select forward while playing (or select rewind while playing normally) you can get two copters flying simultaneously. This is hard because you have to right click and select from the menu before you crash the copter.

While flying the copter, if you right click and select back and then right click and select forward, you can stop the copter's forward motion and it will just hover.

If you select right, left, down, up, A, B, start then you get infinite lives.
