linkster posted big blind.
Game [30] started with 3 players.

Seat 3 : vexvelour has 4h Ah

vexvelour called 200
PJBACES folded.

linkster raised 400
vexvelour called 400 and raised 5,360 and is All-in
linkster called 5,360

What do you guys think? I was going for a steal, but as soon as I went all-in I had a bad feeling. He had been playing fairly loose the entire game, but nonetheless a good player. linkster had been min-raising from the first hand, hard to place him on something. I usually do well when we're down to 3, but sometimes I do the stupidest crap. So..stupid or standard? Results in white, for the curious.

OMG YOU HAVE 30BB.

Wow. Just wow.

Sorry, let me elaborate more.

You have a very healthy stack. Why push it all in when the huge stack has shown he's willing to put chips in the pot? Just call and play poker for God's sake!

YUCK!

How can you be on a steal when you're just calling the BB? You'd think when he raised you, he might have had better than A4.

I just think this is a really bad spot. You'll get plenty of chances to make a play but this really isn't it. The circumstances are all wrong.

doyle's room is a skin of goldenpalace, where i play regularly and i doubt the statement about them all being good players in a $5 SNG is true.

as a matter of fact, i'd wager to say pushing all-in on a raise of 200 to 600 is a donk move. you've got an ace. let's get all our money in preflop. woo-hoo. you lucked out.
