Villian is extremely erratic. Twice he's gone multiple bets in the first round, drawn 3, and then made a 7. He's shown down pairs and ace-high hands.

Villian raises from the button. I have 2445x in the BB and call. I draw 2. Villian draws 5! I get J3 the first round and bet. Villian calls.

Stand pat or draw here?

I drew and bricked the next two draws (a 4 and a 3) while Villian drew 4 and then 3. But I won anyway.

(Villian later did me the courtesy of going 4 bets on each of the first two rounds while I had a pat 875.)

I love this guy. Wish we could get him into cash games.

Your only real worry is catching a 6; a pair's still going to win most of the time. I'd like to have a hand I'm willing to put lots of bets in against him.

you have 16 outs to improve your hand to a T, 9, 8 or 7 and 3 cards to give you the same hand.

i don't see much wrong in trying to draw again. i know i'd feel a lot better jamming with a 9 or even a ten. standing pat with the nut jack might freeze you up on the river if you get too much action.
