Was thinkign bout playing the No at -180, any thoughts on whether this is a good or bad bet and why? figured each pitcher would come out sharp in the first innign with no runs

At -180 there is no way I'd bet this. Its suprising how often teams score in the 1st.

In the World Series? Do you have ANY data backing this up?

the fact thats its the world series doesnt mean much.

i would be more concerend with who the pitcher was, his performance in the first inning over his career, the first three batters he is going to face etc.

i would be much more concerned about his postseason record in the first inning - that's just me, though

so a sample of say 5 is more important to you than 100+?

I agree about -180 being a no way. Not suprised by how often the best hitters on a team push one across.
