NL 200 6max, 100$ effective stacks. Opponent is VERY loose preflop, and moderately aggressive. His best description is loose-goofy.

I have A /images/graemlins/heart.gif8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif in CO and limp, villian limps on button, BB checks. Pot 7$.

flop A /images/graemlins/club.gifJ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
-- checked to villian who bets 5$ (not indicative of top pair-- he'd bet pot or larger. Probably Jx or like 77. Possibly complete air. 22 maybe as well? Not sure how he'd play that here)

-- Hero calls, pot 17$

Turn A /images/graemlins/spade.gif
-- Hero value bets 5$, knowing opponent is drawing dead unless he has KQ or makes an unders-full on river.

River 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
-- Pot 30$
-- Hero bets 8$, villian pushes... and hero has 80 left.

Someone put this psycho on a hand.

5-5? Would he be raising with this preflop? Maybe he's interpreted your small bet on the turn as a scared bet and is representing an ace, either with air or a jack.

I don't know, but if he's wild and LAGgy I'm probably calling.

I don't like changing lines like this midway through the hand. If I check/call the flop I'm check/calling the turn, perhaps make 1/2 bet on river or check/call once again if I think he has nothing.

Uhm... call.

Your value bets are weak as hell. Why not just check/call down, if you think such a large portion of his range is air?

Villian shows 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif and takes my stack after I call.
