Got a question, I opened an accout there 2 days ago and haven't done the deposit bonus yet, was waiting to clear my PS bonuses first. Is there anyway I can get the initial deposit bonus and this reload bonus?

I doubt it, the reload says it applies to the first deposit during the period, which started four and a half hours ago.

But then, it doesn't hurt to try. If you've got $1300 to deposit then do $500 for the 40% signup, then $800 for the 25% reload.

And report back here eh?

I haven't been playing UB much lately, how are the lower buy in NL games these days?

How long do you think it would take to clear about $850 in bonus?

Also, I currently don't have unmentionables there and I want unmentionables because unmentionables are good. I am considering clearing this bonus cash, closing the account, and coming back in six months or so to open a new account. Think that'll work?

I was just checking BW.com to see what they say about how quickly it clears and they have a 50%/$200 signup with a code that beats the standard 40%/200. Just figured I'd let ya know.

I am not entirely certain, ask customer support. I think though it will work, if you have enough money.

I think you can just do the deposit bonus (deposit 500 or whatever your deal is) with your deposit bonus code.

Then right after just deposit 800 more for the reload bonus.

I know you can't deposit -withdraw- deposit to get both bonuses, because I remember right after I signed up they had a reload and I missed it because I did not have the funds available.

The bonuses are stackable and don't expire.

The low buy in NL games are soft on all sites.

I think the bonus clears slower at low level NL than 1-2 limit.

If you play 3 tables you should be able to get probably $5/hour net on the bonus, so $850 would take 170 hours /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I know the bonus clears slow, but I like the software and speed of the games there better than anywhere else, so I am happy to play there whenever I have a bonus. I have currently been playing at Stars with no bonus, so this will be preferable.

IIRC, UB has changed their point structure from being able to earn one point a hand to a max of 1/2 point per hand. this doubles the time it takes to clear the bonus. i dont know if BW has updated their clearing chart. i havent done the math but i think this is a crappy bonus. anyone?

Yegads. Bonuswhores paints an even uglier picture.

Perhaps I should just forego these bonus bucks for the sake of later unmentionables.

It clears about twice as fast at 1-2 to 5-10 limit.

It is just harder to clear at NL due to the structure of release. You need $0.50 raked hands to minimize the release time of the bonus.

Stars 1-2 and UB 1-2 have the same rake, so if there is any bonus then it is worthwhile to play at UB.

Stars has as considerably lower rake than UB at 2-4 and up. However with the bonus, UB is usually better.

At 50NL, it clears about $1.25 an hour per table.

It worked, I deposited and it asked which bonus I wanted, I chose the initial deposit bonus. then I deposited again and it asked what bonus I wanted and clicked the reload bonus (the only option) and I got both bonuses. Now I have 1.3k at UB, and am withdrawing 1000, how long does it take to hit neteller?

I recommend playing a few orbits before withdrawing. I tried this when i first signed up for UB, and they cancelled my WD, but didnt tell me for 2 days.

Their WD's usually take a day to hit Neteller.

Do bonuses subtract from one's MGR at UB like they do at Party or are they like Absolute?

i have heard only 1/2 the bonus is subtracted from MGR but cant say for sure.

10-25-2005, 08:53 PM
I think i'll be avoiding an at best 20x bonus on a site i've never played before. I still got eurobet and interpoker to clear... Was gonna do it at 10x though.

Is this any good for Pokershare players?

for anyone with experience:

how many hours of 3 tabling $1-$2 will I need to play to clear the $200?

takes too long, there are way better options out there

BigBiceps

It clears at about $2.50 per hour per table at 1-2.

So to clear the whole thing 3 tabling, would take ~27 hours.

Note that on UB you get about 75 hands / hour / table whereas on most of the other sites you only get about 60 hands / hour / table.

Usually around 24h or so. Ive had a few faster, a few slower. They're pretty decent.

Yes it works for pokershare. I played at UB a few months ago at 2/4 and 3/6 6-max. Now I'm back there for 5/10 and 10/20 6-max and bonuses seem to be clearing slower. Took about 5300 hands of 5/10 6-max and 1700 hands of 10/20 6-max to clear $250 or about 3.6 cents per hand. However, I also made $609 in rakeback or 8.7 cents per hand for a grand total of 12.3 cents per hand which isn't bad at all.
