Since this TV Show is going to be a big hit, I have some suggestions for future bouts:

Edward Norton vs. Brad Pitt

Bill Clinton vs. Hillary Clinton

Barbara Bush vs. Rosalyn Carter

Tommy Angelo vs. Lee Jones

Marlon Brando vs. Rod Steiger

Dennis Miller vs. Dan Fouts

Kobe Bryant vs. Reggie Miller

Ted Turner vs. Jane Fonda

Mason Malmuth vs. Mark Glover

Katherine Hepburn vs. Bob Hope

Dennis Hopper vs. Christopher Walken

O.J. Simpson vs. Jayson Williams

and my favorite:

John Ashcroft vs. A Dead Guy

I'll take the dead guy -550.

Lott - Condit could be a brutal hair showdown.

Monica Lewinsky - Linda Tripp could be fun.

Let's not lump in Jayson Williams with OJ. OJ was a wifebeating cokehead who (probably) murdered two people in cold blood. Williams was, by almost everyone's account, a good guy who gave to more charities than I can count. However, he did seem to have a fascination with firearms and also a very reckless streak in him, and in this case it looks like the combination of these attributes cost a man his life.

There's no way I'm going to tune in to watch two basketball players have a slap fight. These guys can shoot a ball from 35 feet into a hole that's not much bigger than the ball, but they can't land a punch from point blank range while their opponent has their back turned.

Watching Danny Partridge kick some ass on Willis Drummond will be cool. Have any of the Brady kids been contacted?

Andy vs Archie

According to the SI article, he was seen trying to get the dead man's fingerprints on to the weapon. Yeah, maybe he gave to charity, but it looks like, at best, he tried to cover up a killing.

Brett vs. Kevin the Floorman

Believe it or not:

Ezra Pound vs. Ernest Hemingway

To keep it among the living:

John Updike vs. Tom Wolfe

Hunter S. Thompson vs. Anyone

Sorry to respond to my own post. I hesitated to include these two in the literary category. But then I figured they wrote fiction in a sense so what the hell.

Mason Malmuth vs. Jim Brier.

And Mason may have it in for me after my latest post on the General Forum.
