In your opinion, what's the best affordable vodka out there (let's say 25$ or under for a handle)?
P.S. - If anyone says Dubra, may their soul burn in hell for an eternity.

Fris is the best value in vodka by far.

Skyy is decent and not that expensive; about $25 for a handle I think.

Yes, but would it be that far and above some of the other vodkas mentioned to warrant the aformentioned $10.

I am a broken record about this vodka, but I really like Monopolowa and it's like $10. It's Austrian and made from potatoes. I drink it instead of Chopin because the quality is comparable and it costs so much less.

Stoli isn't that much more expensive and is far better than Smirnoff, for instance.
I think ultra priced vodkas like Grey Goose are generally a rip off- Stoli or Ketel One is as nice as I buy for myself.
nice vodka doesn't really have a distinct flavor; it's supposed to be flavorless. Gin, Scotch, and Tequila, for instance, all have flavors, and are worth spending more money on.

While Grey Goose is a lot more expensive, I find it worth the price. It much smoother than any other vodka I've tried.

When I was in high school we got a handle of Poland Springs Vodka. It came in a plastic bottle and cost less than $5. It was great I think...I don't really remember much from that night.

Skyy is the best budget vodka IMO.
If you're going to drink your vodka in a mixed cocktail, it probably doesn't matter what you buy, b/c you're not going to able to taste the vodka anyway.

I agree. It's about $27 here but often goes on sale for $24 or so.

Did this vodka happen to have an extremely watered-down, watery taste?

Skyy is decent, but I like Fris better, and it's usually cheaper. Have you tried Fris?

Highly recommend Ciroc Vodka - made from fine 'grapes'! Ohh so smooth on rocks - toss in 3 olives and ahhh... about $25.
real nice bottle too.
I like Monopolowa but Luksosowa is better. Also polish, also potato, extremely smooth.

Stolichnaya is the best bang for your buck, but if you really want to save money then I believe Smirnoff and Skyy are priced just barely above generic vodkas without being absolutely crap.
