Live 20/40.

Folded to button who raises.

I 3-bet AJs in the SB, BB folds.

Flop: AKT -- am I happy or sad?

I bet, Button raises, I call.

Turn: J -- am I happy or sad?

I call down.. yuk?

standard. I don't understand why you don't like this flop unless you think a button open raise means QJ. He will make so many second best hands on this flop and come the turn once you make aces up you are beating enough other two pairs hands that calling down is the way to go.

Would you be able to fold to a river raise from this player?

If so, check-calling the turn and donking the river is probably better for value as villain will check through many of the hands you're beating on the river.

If you can't fold to a river raise, calling down seems fine.

Hrmm.. I can probably fold to a river raise in this game.

Good point about the vb.
