Recomend me a good program for web design

Anyone out there who can recomend a program for web page design to me? Preferable one I can download and not have to pay too much to use (open source would be ideal). I'm new to this (well not really, but the last time I did any webprogramming you used emacs and viwed it in Mosaic...)

use dreamweaver. You can download it and use it for 30 days free. www.macromedia.com (http://www.macromedia.com)
If you want to keep using it you'll either have to crack it or pay some decent money from what I remember.

Dreamweaver is pretty easy to crack...not that I would suggest doing such a thing, of course. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
