Villain: ( T25808 )
Hero: ( T22993 )
Blinds (500/1000)
Average is 10k stack, about 52 left where top 60 make the money. Villain plays competently post flop and has good starting requirements. I am in the SB, Villain is in EP.

** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ Jh Kh ]
1 fold.
Villain raises [2800].
5 folds.
Hero in SB..?

Looks like a quick fold to me. There'll be much better positions in which to play a hand than this.

Nearly everything he could have will put you in big trouble apart from middle pairs (and even then you need to connect with the flop and be pretty certain that is what he is holding). You'll also be tangling with an equally big stack out of position for the rest of the hand, which is no fun at all.

I don't mind calling here and taking a strong lead on the flop if your image is less than maniacal, but I'm greedy and love messin with equal big stacks.

my initial response was to fold, but i think KJs is good enough to see a flop here
