Does my Radeon 9600 support 2 monitors? I am a computer idiot.

If it has two outputs it does.

Is that second one an output for a monitor or a tv? Again I am sorry for my ignorance regarding this.

That particular card has both d-sub ("VGA", medium size blue), DVI (big and white) and a s-video output (round and blackm, for tv), so yes, you can connect more stuff on there. And in case someone wants to know what the yellow round one is (none on this card) it is composite out for use to a tv.
