View Full Version : When OL and Raising both leave a bitter taste in your mouth

What's your play(s);

#1- You have 22/33/44. Folded to you on button. BB is in the hand for any number of bets. SB is in the hand 100% if you limp and 85% if you raise. Both these guys like to peel at least once and a GS is enough reason to see a turn card for them.

#2- Same hand and folded to you in SB. BB is going to raise if you limp no matter what he holds and will either call a raise or 3-bet depending on what he holds.

#3- Same hand. Folded to you on button. SB and BB will defend about 50% of the time.

I'd like to fold the first two situations. Even though you likely have a slight edge, those are really hard hands to know if you're ahead in against anyone except weak-tighties.

I'll raise in #3. I'd hate to limp here against anyone.

3) Raise 65-67%, fold 25-35%

Never limp.
